Random shots from the cell phone

Here are some shots from Justin's cell phone that I wanted to be sure I saved. Most of these were taken between the time that Justin picks Lily up from daycare until I get home from work. They sure have a blast together!

Daddy's little prodigy

So...it happened. Justin decided to buy Lily her first bow. Lily has been Daddy's little companion when he is out target shooting and has joined him to the archery range a few times.

Justin told me that she has been asking him "Daddy, when do I get a bow?" and "When I get a bow, I want a pink one, Daddy!"

I don't think he could resist the urge any further when he walked into Dick's Sporting Goods and saw this mini-bow with suction-cupped arrows (personally, my favorite part)...and PINK!

Here are some pictures of Daddy giving it to Lily. I wish I could have videotaped the whole thing. It was hilarious! She is so excited!

Now, I'm off to buy her a pink camo. jumpsuit. The girl's gotta be stylish, you know!

For ME?!?

So excited!

She's a natural

I asked her for her "tough" pose and this is what I got :-)

Barbies!!! Generation #2...

On our last trip out to CA, my sister brought out the infamous "Barbie Bags" my mom made for both my sister and I when we were kids. Sarah finally decided it was time to clean out the garage and pass them along to Lily.
What a walk down memory lane Sarah and I had in her living room going through all the headless Barbies, the 80's outfits, the "original" My Little Pony's, and to my sister's dismay...the leg-less horses!! (My sister was a huge horse-lover). We managed to sift through and weed out those that did not survive the 20-year journey and we brought them back home to Kansas City.
It is such a nostalgic feeling watching Lily play with the same Barbies and Ponies my sister and I used to fight over.
I just hope there are not any major health-hazardous chemicals in those things!
