Summer Visit from Grandma & Grandpa L. 2013

Last week we had a week-long visit from Grandma & Grandpa L!  The kids were more than ready and very excited to see their California grandparents :)  We spent the first few days of fabulous weather close to home, with a trip to the Van Till Winery and Deanna Rose Farmstead.  The remainder of our trip was spent celebrating the 4th of July with the extended Bolinger family at the lake house.  We were thankful to have access to the pool as the heat and humidity kicked up later in the week.  The kids were spoiled tremendously as they had 4 grandparent laps to jump on and an audience to entertain.  Jackson enjoyed eating pistachios and mints with Grandpa and Lily enjoyed changing into the different dresses Grandma made for her.  As with every visit, Grandma had a "project" :).  This time she updated Jackson's room to a "big boy room"!  We hung the quilt that Grandma B. made for him and coordinated the curtains and bedding to match it. Jackson loves his new room with planes, trains, and automobiles!

We are thankful it will only be a couple of weeks until we see Grandma & Grandpa L. again as we head out their way for our beach vacation.  Here are some highlights from the week:
