Losie cousins come to visit!

When we found out our beach family was coming to visit, we were Thrilled! :) This was cousins Charlie & Ethan's first plane trip and we were ready to have some fun here in KC!

The only unfortunate thing was that Charlie had an ear infection and ended up in urgent care, but thankfully it didn't keep him down for long.
Jackson loved having a couple of buddies to play superheros, guns, and just boy stuff with! It was actually quite funny to watch the boys chase Jackson around and play whatever game he wanted to. It was like he had a little entourage! :) They all played so well together and we are excited for "part II" of the three amigos at the beach house this summer!

We had such a fun trip and are hoping they can come visit again soon! :)

Easter 2015

We celebrated a beautiful Easter this year, complete with all the fun Easter activities. One new activity (which I forgot to photograph) was our Resurrection Eggs- daily walking through pieces of the story leading up to Jesus' death and Resurrection. We did this during breakfast each morning and it really helped the kids (and us) prepare our hearts rather than cramming it all into one weekend. The kids also loved opening each egg finding a small symbol to help them remember the story. I'm excited to keep this new tradition for years to come.

April 2015 highlights

We had two major events in April- Easter and a visit from Uncle Phil, Aunt Lauren, Charlie & Ethan (which I will cover in separate posts). April was a fun month of activity for the kiddos! With spring break also mixed in, we also had some fun time with friends. Enjoy some pictures!

Lily has been taking swim lessons through her school every Monday afternoon for an 8-week session. This was a great opportunity to prepare for pool time this summer. And also some great after-school time with friends (here with Chloe)

Jackson had a field trip to the Coterie Theater to see "The Cat and the Hat" performed. It was a great show! Here he is with his friend, Giana. I believe if there is a term for "preschool crush", this would be it! :)
