One of the joys of Grandma & Grandpa's retirement is having them be a part of the fun grandkid events of the school year! We were excited to have them join us to celebrate Jackson's PreK graduation and Lily's 3rd grade awards ceremony. We snuck in a Tball game and a school walk-a-thon as well :-). The kids always enjoy their one-on-one time with their grandparents. Here's a snapshot of their visit:
This picture was just too comical to leave out. We were in the Costco parking lot and typical Jack...he does not know the meaning of "stay close" or "WALK!" so instead of holding Grandma's hand, he asked her to hold his shirt! Ha! Grandma, of course, went right along with it. This isn't her first rodeo, obviously.
Lily's cheering crowd at her walk-a-thon during field day at school
Filling up Jackson's love tank with the "flavor of the day" at Culver's
Grandma purchased a "RV-sized" sewing machine and decided to give Lily some lessons and create some little tote bags too!
When we see Grandma, we get pedicures! One of our fun girls day out activities. Jackson did well tagging along this time :)
Before heading home to California, we celebrated Lily's many awards at her 3rd grade assembly. What a blessing to have both grandparents there to cheer her on!
