However, back in March, we were still adjusting to the climate change. One day in shorts, the next in a winter coat (as you will see in the pictures)!
We have determined that the first weekend of "Spring" weather is not a safe one for our kiddos. Last year, we ended a beautiful day at the park in the E.R. with Jackson getting staples on his head after suffering an injury on the playground.
This year, what was supposed to be a fun afternoon playing disc golf with friends, turned out to be another E.R. trip! This time Lily was hit by a flying disc (thrown accidentally by her brother) which landed her a couple of stitches on her forehead. :( Poor girl!
The "before"
And "after" :(
Palm Sunday at church
Lunch with Lily at school
First game for Spring Soccer! "Team Monsters" (and photobomb Lily :)
This is Jackson's second season of Soccer and he has really taken to it! His last game, he scored 3 goals! He loves his coach and looks forward to practices and games every week!
This is Lily's 3rd season of soccer and she is loving the fact that she has three great friends on her team! (with Lainee here) She continues to develop her skills every season and scored her first goal last weekend!
Lily had a field trip to the KC Royals stadium in March. I was lucky to be one of the two selected parents for her class to attend. I had just as much fun as she did getting all the "behind the scenes" info :)
