This year we celebrated the 4th of July at home, rather than at the lake. The holiday fell in the middle of the week, so we took the opportunity to spend it with friends. We were invited to a firework party at a church friends' house, which had a great view of the Lees Summit city firework show! We enjoyed hanging out with friends and eating homemade ice cream.

| Hannah loved "babysitting" Jackson and played with him the majority of the night. It was great! |

| Jackson was not scared of the fireworks! In fact, after each one went off, he said "Whoa!" I should have known loud noises would not scare him off :) |
